Mitchells of Westport 50th anniversary event

I don't know how I let this post get so delayed, but here it is better late than never. A month or back i shot the 50th anniversary fundraiser at Mitchells in Westport. It was quite the shindig, as there were something like 700 people there! Miss Laura Landau was kind enough to come along and help me out that evening---

Jin Nantz from CBS sports started off the evening with some opening remarks

The next thing I know out pops Brian Williams, who I did NOT expect to see.

Sheryl Crow performed that evening for about an hour, and I had pretty much full access to shoot throughout the entire conecert. i kept waiting to get yelled at, but it never happened (except by someone in the crowd but thats another story)

I ended up having to shoot  a meet & greet that 65 folks paid $1000 for---something else I did not know about until I arrived to add to the stress level! (she was very sweet by the way)

THEN - out comes Isabella Rossalini - who I happen to LOVE. Are they trying to KILL me with surprises? One of my favorite older films is Blue Velvet

("What are you doing in my closet, Jeffrey Beaumont?" --a reference you'll only get if you know the film)

....and to top it all off there was a cool fashion show
